Thank you for your assistance with IBC beta testing! We need as many individuals as possible who believe in what we’re doing, which is to provide a better option to the negative trash and energy-draining experiences we all have on “other” social media platforms. Please join the feedback group and notify us of any bug fixes or issues you encounter. Please also let us know what features and changes you’d like to see in future revisions. This is our village; therefore, we can do whatever we want with it. If you know of any businesses, instructors, creators, events, etc, please let us know by posting them in the feedback group. We will upload the website to the Google Play Store and Apple App Store soon. Please help as much as you can, and thank you for joining while in beta! Don’t look at the site as it is now; please understand that this is the beginning of Facebook, Instagram, Tesla, or any other major start-up. See the future with us, and don’t be dissuaded by the beginning.
About Us
Iced Blk Coffee is a space for melanated expression and creativity. A place for optimism and positive vibes. I built this space to share with those who are tired of the negative energy overload and general rotten experiences that other social networks provide. I created a space for cooking groups, book clubs, how- to’s, technology, sports, and pretty much anything else that a social network can give, but without the negativity. So, go ahead and form a group, create a tech forum, exchange photos and videos with friends, or arrange a Zoom group meeting. This space is ours. Come learn, share, and love with us. Come on in and receive some of this Free Drink.
About Me
Out of the agony of loss, I created this space. I prayed, and God gave me the idea to create a space to channel my grief over my parents deaths. This began as a resource for Black men on how to process loss and grief because God brings a lot of people into my life with similar pains but as I prayed, God told me to do more. I realized that all melanated people needed a place to decompress and come together to support one another without the negative influences that other social media sites provide. Trashy algorithms and biased racial influences should not be used on a daily basis by our people. When I realized God wanted more from me and wanted me to build something bigger, I set about learning how to do just that. I’ve used years of knowledge and God’s guidance to create a space where melanated people can connect and support each other utilizing several services and a community which I dubbed “The Village” . It takes a village right? My overall goal of this site is to help keep the Black Dollar in the community longer than a day, we are at 6 hours so we have a ways to go. I want this to be a space to support each other mentally. If I help do that it is a win and a blessing. Let’s not only recycle the black dollar with the Business Profiles, let’s hire black with the Job Board. Let’s learn from each other through Groups and/or the Study Cafe. The space is ours. I see Linkedin as my inspiration and closet competition. The way that LinkedIn connects people with a purpose is the way I see IBC connecting us. Now that doesn’t mean we can’t laugh and share silly memes and videos. Just keep the vibe chill and cool. I usually say if it brings your vibration down, don’t post it here. Let’s keep this our safe space to learn and build each other up. That is my only ask from the members.
