Iced Blk Coffee (IBC) Child Safety Policy

Last Updated: April 26, 2025

1. Introduction

Iced Blk Coffee (IBC) is committed to providing a safe environment for all users, especially minors. We strictly prohibit any form of child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) or child sexual abuse material (CSAM) on our platform. This policy outlines our standards, reporting mechanisms, and compliance procedures to meet Google Play’s Child Safety Standards.

2. Scope

This policy applies to all IBC services, including our website, mobile apps, APIs, user-generated content features, and any third-party integrations under IBC’s control.

3. Key Definitions

  • Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE): Any content or behavior that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers children—including grooming for sexual purposes, sextortion, sex trafficking, or other forms of sexual exploitation of minors.
  • Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): Any visual depiction (e.g., photos, videos, computer-generated imagery) of a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct.

4. Published Standards

IBC maintains a publicly accessible web page dedicated to our child safety standards. This page:

  • Clearly defines CSAE and CSAM in plain language.
  • Details prohibited behaviors and content.
  • References “Iced Blk Coffee (IBC)” by name.
  • Is designed for global accessibility and ease of navigation (anchor links to relevant sections).

5. In-App Reporting Mechanism

IBC provides an always-available “Report” feature within every user interface where content is displayed. Users can report suspected CSAE or CSAM without leaving the app, choosing from reasons such as “Underage sexual content,” “Grooming,” or “Other child safety concern.” Reports trigger an immediate review by our Moderation Team.

6. Response Procedures

Upon receiving a report or detecting CSAE/CSAM, IBC will:

  1. Remove the offending content or suspend the associated account.
  2. Preserve all relevant metadata and evidence in secure logs.
  3. Notify appropriate law enforcement agencies and child protection authorities in accordance with applicable laws.
  4. Follow our published escalation workflow to ensure timely and thorough handling.

7. Legal Compliance

IBC adheres to all relevant child protection laws and regulations, including:

  • COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act) for users under 13 in the United States.
  • Regional privacy and child protection laws (e.g., GDPR-K in Europe).
  • Industry best practices, such as the Tech Coalition Child Safety Standards.
